Privacy Notice

 In compliance with the Federal Law on Protection of Personal Data in Possession of Individuals and its Regulations (hereinafter the Law), and in order to ensure the protection and privacy of personal data, as well as regulating access rights, rectification, cancellation and opposition of the treatment thereof, INSTITUTO IRLANDES DE MONTERREY SC, communicates this Notice.


INSTITUTO IRLANDES DE MONTERREY S.C. (hereinafter the Responsible), located in Batallón de San Patricio # 110 Col. Residencial San Agustin San Pedro Garza García NL, is responsible for protecting the confidentiality of personal data, sensitive personal data and personal financial or patrimonial data of their students, aspirants to students, alumni, graduates, and their parents or guardians, as well as to guarantee their privacy and their right to information self-determination.

Privacy Policy

This Notice is intended to ensure the privacy of the data provided by our students, aspiring students, alumni, graduates, and their parents or guardians, in order to link with the academic services provided by the Responsible.

By providing their personal data the owner agrees to its treatment, as this term is understood in section XVIII of Article 3 of the Law. In case of disagreement the owner should not provide any data.


The Responsible can collect personal data, sensitive personal data and personal financial or patrimonial data, for some of the following purposes:

Provision of educational services; integration of the academic record; integration of the administrative file; contact information to send communications; contact information to locate parents or guardians; analyze scholarship applications; decide on discounts or surcharges; evaluate quality in the service, make statistics about educational services, sports and cultural activities; comply with requirements of the Ministry of Public Education and other government authorities. and, in general, for marketing, advertising or commercial prospection purposes.

Personal information

The following personal data, sensitive personal data and personal financial or patrimonial data may be subject to processing, which are presented in an enunciative, non-limiting manner:

  • Identification data: full name, age, date and place of birth, gender, marital status, address, nationality, e-mail, contact telephone numbers, Unique Code of the Population Registry (CURP), Social Security Number, key of the Federal Register of Taxpayers (IFE), signature, religion, fingerprint, DNA, names of Parents and brothers.
  • Academic Data: name and address of school of origin, educational trajectory, grades and certificates issued by other institutions, languages, professional title, professional identification number, certificates of studies, school records.
  • Health Data: Health status, medical history, diseases, food restrictions, allergies, blood group, organ donor, psychological and psychiatric issues, data from your doctor, medical or psychological treatments you receive, contact data for case of emergency.
  • Information about the parents or guardians: full name of the father and mother or guardian and tutor of the student, full name, age and schooling of all their children, complete address of the family or of each of the parents if they are separated, as well as their telephones and emails, full details of the work address, employment or business of the father and/or mother including telephones and post office, occupation, position held, degree of studies, marital status, work schedules, etc. RFC, CURP and fiscal address for electronic invoicing.
  • Financial or patrimonial data: Movable and immovable property, personal income and expenses, income and expenses of the parents, bank accounts, personal references, fiscal information. report of credit bureaus, tax returns, payroll receipts and, in general, data on the family's economic situation.
  • Sensitive data: hobbies, sports, religious beliefs, political affiliation, union affiliation, religious or political associations to which it has belonged, extracurricular activities. data on the student's behavior in the social, family, emotional, health, sports, etc..; data requested in admission and/or follow-up interviews that allow evaluating the student and their family or family environment.
  • Physical characteristics: photo, skin color, iris and hair color, fingerprint, scars or particular signs.

In case of not having some of the aforementioned data, there may be the possibility that the Responsible Party cannot provide the services that are part of an appropriate legal relationship with the Holder.

It is also informed that in order to comply with the purposes set forth in this Notice, sensitive personal data described in the preceding paragraphs will be collected and processed. That is why the Responsible undertakes to have them treated under strict security measures, guaranteeing their confidentiality.


The Responsible observes the principles of confidentiality, legality, consent, information, quality, purpose, loyalty, proportionality and responsibility in the protection of personal data.

Data transfer

The Responsible may make national or international data transfers without the consent of the owner in the cases provided for in the Law and its Regulations.

It may also make transfers of data to entities providing services for the fulfillment of the agreed contractual obligations.

Third parties and entities receiving personal data, assume the same obligations and/or responsibilities that the Responsible has assumed with the owner in this Notice.

The owner of personal data that establishes a legal relationship with the Responsible accepts that their personal data could be transferred in the terms described in the Law, its Regulation and this Privacy Notice.

Options and means to limit the use or disclosure of personal data

The treatment of your personal data will be the one that is necessary, adequate and relevant in relation to the purposes foreseen in this Privacy Notice.

The Responsible has the security, administrative, technical and physical measures necessary and sufficient to protect your personal data against damage, loss, alteration, destruction, use, access or unauthorized treatment.

Personal data are safeguarded in databases and computer equipment that have the necessary security to prevent information leaks. Physical and logical access controls, environmental controls, anti-intrusion protection systems (IPS, Firewall), antivirus protection tools and web filtering are some of the tools used to maintain data security in the systems of the Responsible.

If the owner wishes to request the limitation of the use or disclosure of their personal data, they can do so in the Privacy Department at the email

Rights of holders of personal data

Any owner or, as the case may be, his legal representative may exercise the rights of access, rectification, cancellation and opposition regarding his/her personal data, and the Responsible will provide the means that allow him/her to exercise their rights in a timely manner. The exercise of rights of access, rectification, cancellation, opposition, limitation of use or revocation of consent must be requested in writing only before the Privacy Department at the email

Procedure for the exercise of rights

The request, in writing via email, for access, rectification, cancellation, opposition, limitation of use or revocation of consent, must contain and accompany the following:

  • The name of the owner and address or other means to communicate the response to your request,
  • Documents proving your identity or, where appropriate, the legal representation of the owner,
  • The clear and precise description of the personal data with respect to which one seeks to exercise any of the aforementioned rights, and
  • Any other element or document that facilitates the location of personal data.
  • In the case of requests for rectification, the owner must indicate the modifications to be made and provide the documentation supporting his/her request.
  • The Responsible will communicate to the owner, in twenty business days counted from the date on which the request for access, rectification, cancellation or opposition was received, the decision adopted so that, if it is appropriate, it becomes effective within the fifteen business days following the date on which the response is communicated. The aforementioned deadlines may be extended once only for an equal period, as long as the circumstances of the case justify it.


The obligation to access information will be considered to be fulfilled when personal data are made available to the owner.


  • The owner of personal data may revoke his consent for the processing of personal data at any time, and only for such purposes should he send a written request to the Privacy Department at the email
  • Within the next twenty business days counted from the date on which the request for revocation was received, the Responsible will inform the owner about the admissibility or inadmissibility of the same and if it is admissible, it will be effective within fifteen business days following the date in which the answer is communicated to the email that the owner provides.

Changes to this notice

The Responsible reserves the right to make modifications or updates to this privacy notice at any time, for the attention of legislative or jurisprudential news, internal policies, new requirements for the provision or offering of the services offered by the Responsible.

General consent

Having made this Privacy Notice available to the Holder and its modifications, either personally or through the website or other means, and having not immediately expressed any opposition, it will be understood that the owner has tacitly consented to the treatment of their data.

If the owner provided his information verbally, in writing, by electronic means, optical or by any other technology, or by unambiguous signs, it will be understood that he has given his express consent.

Express consent

In accordance with the applicable articles of the Federal Law for the Protection of Personal Data Held by Private Parties, through this i. the owner acknowledges that he has read this Privacy Notice and understood its scope; ii. the owner gives his express consent for the processing of his personal data, sensitive personal data and personal financial or patrimonial data for the purposes established in this Privacy Notice; and iii. The owner accepts that the Responsible can transfer their personal data, sensitive personal data and personal financial or patrimonial data to third parties other than the person in charge.

This express consent can be documented through handwritten signature, electronic signature or any authentication mechanism.
