At the Irish International School we encourage all children to participate in sports.
Sports can provide many benefits for children and teenagers, as it is an essential part for their integral development.
Physical exercise is good in many ways, it enhances physical coordination, promotes different types of values such as perseverance, teamwork, problem solving and the will to be a better person every day.
Through sports, our students develop psychomotor skills, boost self–esteem and grow socially, affectively, and intellectually.
During the school year, our students participate in different school tournaments and every year in our “Torneo de la Amistad” which is the biggest competition for children in Latin America, gathering more than 7,000 athletes from the Semper Altius School Network.
In this way, students are exposed to learn basic skills, the rules of games, and living the values of fair play and good sportsmanship.
